Wreath Laying Conception Bay South
Monument of Honour
Dear Association Members,
President Leo O’Brien of Newfoundland and Labrador Division has provided us with images from a wreath laying ceremony in memory of Cst. Heidi Stevenson who was killed in the line of duty in Nova Scotia on April 19th., 2020. The other victims of the tragic incident were also remembered during this simple ceremony which took place at the Conception Bay South Legion Monument of Honour on April 20, 2020.
The Newfoundland and Labrador RCMP ensign will be flying at half mast at the Monument for the remainder of the week.
The wreath was laid by S/Sgt. Jim Power (rtd.) on behalf of the Newfoundland and Labrador Division of the RCMP Veterans’ Association.
