Special “I” – Electronic Surveillance
Dear Members of the Association,
Nova Scotia Division member, Bill Milley has asked for some help in locating Special “I” serving and retired members who trained at the Kemptville facility and who may be able to provide relevant information about the facility.
Bill has specifically provided the following notice,
A working group of current and retired RCMP Special “I” members are interested in locating retired and former Special “I” members to inform them of a legal inquiry relevant to members of the RCMP who attended the former Kemptville Training Centre, Kemptville, Ontario. The Training Centre was badly contaminated with countless mold, asbestos, carcinogens, lead and rodent feces. Members who have attended the Kemptville Training Centre are asked to self identify by sending an e-mail to spli_kem@telus.net. It should be noted, the National Police Federation (NPF) has retained a law firm to represent the Special “I” members on this matter
