Dear Members of the Association,

Further to the message yesterday (2021-02-17) regarding candidates for increasing PHAC enforcement capacity. We have received a number of communications noting the fact that the email provided is not always working

For those members who did find the solution thank you for advising us.

We did check with Joanne Crampton who has provided the following which mirrors the solutions provided by our members,

“If difficulties are experienced with the email address then I suggest that those experiencing the problem copy and paste that email address or re-type it into the body of an email, it should send okay. If they have questions, I can take them as well if they are having issues with the email address.”

ARE YOU A RETIRED PEACE OFFICER WANTING TO SUPPORT THE COVID-19 EFFORT?

We are currently seeking candidates to surge our enforcement capacity. If you have a strong enforcement background, are great at dealing with people and want to support Canada’s efforts to reduce the importation and spread of COVID-19 in Canada, this position will be of interest to you.

WHAT COULD YOU BE DOING?

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with public health and border officials.
  • Examine non-compliance, support enforcement and on-going investigations.
  • Provide professional support to PHAC officials as they carry out their enforcement duties.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THIS POSITION…

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, strong communications skills, experience working in a multi-disciplinary team and conducting investigations.

The ideal candidate will be able to work in one of Canada’s major metropolitan areas and/or in proximity to land border ports of entry and airports.
