Harold Searle at 102

 

Nova Scotia Division Member, Harold Searle

Dear Members,

The family of Harold Searle, Regimental Number 14011, a treasured member of Nova Scotia Division, advised he is in declining health and is under ever-increasing levels of personal care. Harold is 102 years of age and the second oldest member of the RCMP Veterans Association.

Please keep Harold and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Shortly after Harold’s 100th., birthday he was interviewed by the local media.  Included in the interview was a comment from the C.O. “H” Division ” the CO remarked that Harold had actually collected twice as many pension cheques as he had pay cheques!”

In the photo above, taken at the birthday party are Harold’s children and extended family who were in attendance to support him on his special day, including daughter Helen, and sons Jack and Greg and families.
