Photograph of Kenneth Kornelson (Reg.#23837)

Fifty years ago on May 17, 1965, Constable Kenneth Kornelson was accidentally electrocuted while swimming in the pool at “Depot” Division in Regina.

For some unknown reason, Cst. Cornelian is not listed on the RCMP’s Honour Roll. You can read about his death here.

Staff Sergeant Major John Buis has advised us that a ceremony commemorating Constable Kornelson’s brief service in the RCMP will be conducted on Friday May 15, 2015 at 10:00 am at the Hatzic Cemetery at 34867 Cemetery Avenue Mission, B.C.

Members of the Mission Detachment and others will be attending in Review Order. Chaplain Jim Turner will be presiding over the ceremony.

Troopmates, friends, RCMP Veterans and relatives of Constable Kornelson are invited to attend this memorial.
