PASSING OF RETIRED MEMBER

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of retired Inspector 1241 John McKAY who passed away on July 31 at the age of 73.

John joined the VPD July 3, 1984 and retired April 30, 2009. During his service, John worked in Patrol, Detention and Services Section, Support Services, Emergency Response Section, Education and Training, Executive Services Section, was Aide to the DCC of Operations, and a Duty Officer.

May he rest in peace.

Celebration of Life

The Celebration of Life for retired Inspector John McKay is scheduled for Saturday, October 28 at 2pm and will be held at the Broadway Church located at 2700 East Broadway in Vancouver.
