Operation Morale Builder – Detachment Visitations
| Dear Members of the Association In our last message we noted the work of Lethbridge and Cypress Hills Divisions in the morale builder program initiated by President Bob Ellergodt of Calgary Divison. Presidents Ken Taylor (Lethbridge) and Heinz Hauser (Cypress Hills) have very successfully spearheaded the support tours in their areas. Now, we have just been apprised that the work of the Divisions in supporting the members of the Force continues unabated. Below can be seen Victoria Division in full flight and, as has been the case in the Association’s visits to other Detachments our members are making a very real difference in the day to day lives of the serving members. | We’ve got your back(bacon) celebration – Westshore Detachment |
| Today the Victoria Division RCMP Vets hosted yet another pizza celebration day with Westshore Detachment. Several members and employees took part in the event and thanked the Vets for their support. The OIC Todd Preston took the time to thank each Vet and provided us with a mug and challenge coin. The division plans to host two more events, Sidney and Island District HQ. We will be funding those last two events from our Victoria Division account. The first two have been paid for by donations and the generous gift cards provided by Boston Pizza Head Office. Here are a couple of photos from today’s event and thanks to the Victoria Division Vet volunteers who came out today and in particular to Brian McQuarrie who picks up the pizzas and delivers them.
