A helpful website was recently brought to our attention.

This is a site being run by VAC that is specifically designed for the Force – serving and retired members.

It is full of information. The main page includes these headings,

Disability pension programs and services
You and your family
Medical costs
Talk to a professional now

which, if you click on them opens up a much larger series of information options.

N.B. Members should also remember that if you do have questions about pay and benefits and all that sort of stuff our President, Steve Walker, is a former DSRR and knows his way around the programs and if he doesn’t know he knows who will know and can help you out.
