Surrey Detachment 70th Anniversary

Surrey Detachment 70th Anniversary

In 2021, the Surrey RCMP will mark 70 years of service to the City of Surrey.

In order to honour this important milestone, Surrey Detachment is reaching out to veterans who served at Surrey to work on a special commemorative project. We would like to put together a collection of photos and stories to show what policing was like in the days of the old Cloverdale Detachments, Whalley Detachment, Whalley suboffice, the “White House”, and the current Main Detachment, West Main and District Offices.

With the number of members who have served at Surrey over 70 years, we know there must be many be stories to be told and photos to be shared!

If you would like to be part of this project by sharing your photos or stories (funny, serious, sad, historic or “do you believe this?” stories are all welcome), please send them to me at the email below.
