Pension Over Payment

President Walker has provided the following alert for our members regarding pension over-payments.

“Some of you have contacted me regarding the issue of overpayments of your benefits from the RCMP.
After corresponding with the RCMP on this matter, I can tell you the overpayment issue affects a very small number of retirees.
These people will be receiving information from the RCMP Pension Centre no later than the end of June 2020 regarding their overpayments and any resulting action that might be necessary as a result of the overpayment.
If you have reason to believe an overpayment may apply to you, I encourage you to call the Pension Centre directly in order to get accurate information about your specific pension. The number to call is 1-855-502-7090.”
