Below and attached is information about the settlement of Class Action against Veterans’ Affairs Canada (VAC) to settle the underpayment of VAC Disability Benefits. It may be beneficial to include this in the next Newsletter.
Every RCMP & Military Veteran who is receiving a VAC Disability Pension will be paid by VAC in the usual manner that they receive their benefits. Please read the Short Form Notice for more details.
If you have questions, contact VAC direct Toll Free at: 1-866-522-2122 Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM local time.
Do not contact the RCMP Veterans’ Association Advocates – because of the Privacy Act, VAC will only disclose details about specific individuals’ entitlements with the specific individuals.
