Operation Morale Builder – Detachment Visitations

We’ve Got Your Back (Bacon) Event No. 3

Dear Members of the Association,

We have received another cable from Victoria Division regaling us with their travelogue to a variety of RCMP Detachments to show support for the Force.

The report follows and we congratulate Victoria Division in their quest to put a smile on the face of the serving members.

Good afternoon Victoria Vets members:

Today was another beautiful day and we held another pizza recognition day at Sidney Detachment. S/Sgt. Wayne Conley, several of his staff and several of our own volunteers made it another special day. They welcomed us and Wayne offered his sincere appreciation on behalf of all Sidney members and staff.

Once again thanks to the local Boston Pizza (Uptown) owner who is the son of one of our Vets. He provided the x-large pizzas to us for $15 each a heck of a deal. So please support that local business.

Pizza, pop, water, or coffee was provided with a little music from Rosie and Lorraine.

Now respecting the “Mountie Strong” t-shirts you see in the photos attached. If you want one we will be putting in one more order. They are $20. If you want one send an email to Liz Wortman at sectorwest@yahoo.ca

Thanks to the numerous volunteers who showed up. Final event is Wednesday August 19th, 2020 at Island District HQ.

Final Thing! As of tomorrow I will be away with the RV, family and friends and back on line around August 18th. I will not be monitoring Vet email. So if you have something urgent, reach out to one of your Executive.
