RCMP Pipes & Drums release “Governor Bruce’s Ramparts”
Brad Hampson wrote: “The RCMP Pipes & Drums National Division video was publicly released on August 28, 2020 and will have widespread audience through Edinburgh Castle as well.”
Garth Hampson, member of the RCMP Veterans’ Association, Ottawa Division wrote: “it comes as a result of their performance at the Royal Edinburgh Tattoo last summer where they became great friends with the Governor of Edinburgh castle, and who is related to Lord Elgin. Our Pipe Major, Graeme Ogilvie wrote this piece of music and the band recorded it at the Lord Elgin Hotel here in early Spring. Brad is the Druim Major in the presentation.”
