Assistance Available From VAC

Dear Association Members,

RCMP – VAC Liaison officer, Sgt. Kim Hendricken has asked that a reminder be distributed to our membership regarding the availability of VAC Assistance Services.  Kim drew particular attention to the provision of psychological support to veterans, former RCMP members, their family members, or caregivers.  To receive this type of help you do not need to be a client of VAC and it is provided at no cost to the veteran, family or caregiver.  The contact number is 1-800-268-7708 and you may link to their website by clicking here.

The website is very informative and covers a wide swath of areas associated with mental health issues.  As we know, these issues often appear after a member has left the Force and as you read through the VAC website you will see the extensive coverage that they are providing.

This is very good of Kim and we thank her profusely.

At the risk of being repetitive a button to click and take you to the website appears below.
