Surrey Detachment recently put up a wall honouring the former Officers in Charge of the detachment.

Surrey Detachment has occupied many buildings in Surrey BC since it took over policing responsibilities from the Surrey Municipal Police in 1951.

The following are photographs of these buildings from 1952 to current.

Most recently, Surrey Detachment has located and mounted photographs of all the officers who commanded Surrey Detachment.  These photographs are now mounted on the wall outside the General Duty Briefing Room which was recently renovated to become the OIC’s Executive Boardroom.

My oh my -how things have changes over time.
