Nov. 13 – 18: Gone But Not Forgotten

 

 

 

When a RCMP Veteran passes away – their old colleagues pause for a moment to reflect on the good times they had and the memories they created.

 

 

 

 

 

Despite the times that deceased member was serving their communities and away from their families, the Veteran’s family members are extremely proud of the contributions made by the recently departed.

The following Veterans have passed away on the past few weeks:

#15690 – Retired Staff Sergeant Allan COULTER passed away on November 7, 2017 in Richmond, BC

Al joined the Force on January 7, 1949 and served in “G”, and “HQ” Divisions until his retirement on October 2, 1979.  At the time of his retirement, he was a member of Security Services. No details have been received on service for Allan.

 

 

#17156 – O.787 – Retired Chief Superintendent William ‘Bill’ John BECKER passed away on November 11, 2017.

Bill joined the Force on August 10, 1951 and served in “E”, “N” and “HQ” Divisions until his retirement on June 15, 1988.  – You can read his obituary here.

 

 

#21278 – Retired Sergeant Patrick Joseph KING passed away on November 9, 2017 at Penticton, BC.

Pat joined the Force in January 1960 and served in “G” and “K” Divisions until his retirement on February 2, 1981. – You can read his obituary here.

 

 

 

#17001 – Retired Staff Sergeant Michael A. SHERIDAN passed away on November 13, 2017.

Mike joined the Force on May 21, 1951 and served in “H”, “G”, “A” and “HQ” Divisions until his retirement on May 20, 1986.  – You can read his obituary here.

 

 

#40203 – O.2593 – Inspector – Robert Bruce ‘Bob’ FRAME on November 9, 2017.

Bob joined the Force on July 29, 1988 and served in “F” and “G” Divisions. – You can read his obituary here.

 

 

 

#18087 – Former Constable Leopold Delbert Edwin SHARPE passed away on November 15, 2017.

Del joined the Force on February 2, 1953 and served in “K” Division until he left the Force on April 16, 1956. – You can read his obituary here.
