William (Bill) John Robert Stacey passed away in his sleep on Wednesday, 9 Oct 2024 at Langley Memorial Hospital, at the age of 97. He was born in 1927 in Reid Hill Alberta and grew up in Toronto.

Bill is survived by Bernice, his wife of 70 years, his two sons, Michael (Margaret) and Peter (Joanne), two grandchildren, Johnathan and Michaella, one step grandson, Regan and two step great grandsons, Aiden and Lachlan. He was predeceased by his grandchild Gerald.

He was a member of the RCMP for 25 years and then worked for the BC government for 10 years. A resident of Fort Langley since 1967, he was an active member of the BC Farm Museum.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Bill at St. Andrew’s United Church in Fort Langley on Wednesday, 6 November 2024 at 1:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the BC Farm Museum.

Remembered with respect and gratitude for his service.

Bill Stacey joined the RCMP on April 17, 1950.  He served in British Columbia in various locations including Burnaby, Hundred Mile House, Nanaimo, Kelowna and Langley.  He retired at the rank of Sergeant on April 17, 1975.
