July 31 – Aug. 5: Gone But Not Forgotten

When a RCMP Veteran passes away – their old colleagues pause for a moment to reflect on the good times they had and the memories they created.

 

 

 

 

 

Despite the times that deceased member was serving their communities and away from their families, the Veteran’s family members are extremely proud of the contributions made by the recently departed.

The following Veterans have passed away on the past few weeks:

 

 

#27287 – Former Constable Gordon Michael DUDA passed away on July 26, 2017 at Stony Plain Alberta.

Gord joined the Force on April 21, 1969 and served in “E” and “K” Divisions until his departure on July 31, 1975. – You can read his obituary here.

 

#15361 – Retired Staff Sergeant Major William Johnston STEWART passed away on July 24, 2017 at Ottawa Ontario.

Bill joined the Force on December 8, 1947 and served in both “E” and “HQ” Divisions prior to his retirement on December 7, 1971. – You can read his obituary here.

 

 

 

#35402 – Retired Sergeant Clyde G.J. CLAIRMONT passed away on July 25, 2017 at Welland Ontario.

Clyde joined the Force on March 13, 1979 and served in “O” Division until his retirement on March 14, 2011. – You can read his obituary here.

 

 

Peggy SCHINDELER (wife of William SCHINDELER – #17781) passed away on July 27, 2017.  No details available as of yet on the funeral or memorial service.
