When a RCMP Veteran passes away – their old colleagues pause for a moment to reflect on the good times they had and the memories they created.

 

 

 

 

 

Despite the times that deceased member was serving their communities and away from their families, the Veteran’s family members are extremely proud of the contributions made by the recently departed.

The following individuals have passed away on the past few weeks:

Retired Auxiliary Constable Joseph Alfred DESCHNER who passed away on July 23, 2016 in Kelowna. – You can read his obituary here.

#17847 – Retired Corporal Loyd F. NYSTROM passed away on July 2, 2016.

Loyd joined the Force on August 4, 1952 and served in “K” Division until his retirement on March 31, 1966. – You can read his obituary here.

#43838 – O.2686 – Superintendent Kenda Helen DUNN passed away July 23, 2016 at Ottawa Ontario.

Kinda joined the Force in March 1992 and was posted in “W”, “A”, “HQ” and “C” Division.  She was on the Musical Ride in 2001 – 2002. – You can read her obituary here.

#16785 – Retired Sergeant Richard Wayne McCARTHY passed away on July 23, 2016 in the Ridge Meadows Hospital.

Wayne joined the Force on January 8, 1951 and served his entire career in “E” Division.  On July 2, 1976, he retired from the Force and his last posting was at Haney Detachment – You can read his obituary here.
